Getting You Started Guide - Community Response Plus Volunteer
Community Response Plus Volunteer
As a Community Response Plus Volunteer, you’ll be providing invaluable and essential service to people with cognitive impairments or significant vulnerabilities. The service provided is similar to our Community Response Volunteers.
What does a Community Response Plus Volunteer do?
You’ll be providing help by collecting and delivering shopping, medication and other essential supplies that a person may need.
This includes collecting and delivering:
- Food and essential items
- Prescriptions and medications
With the health service working hard to meet the combined challenge of winter pressures and second wave of coronavirus (COVID-19), the scheme is now extended until the end of March 2021.
